Saving rain water

The Western Cape is enjoying some much needed rain and we are thankful!

Here are 5 tips on how to save rain water:

1. Collect run-off water in rain barrels, or even large polyethylene, wood or fiberglass tanks.
2. Install a rainwater collection system.
3. Create a rainwater garden.
4. Use rain chains instead of traditional downspouts.
5. Adapt household and yard products to catch rain water.
