Dust suppression

Misting is an extremely effective method of dust suppression, dust abatement, and dust prevention at the source. Dosing with an environmentally safe chemical, increases the surface tension of the water which gives better dust control and reduces water usage.
When properly designed and installed, the Misting System produces a high concentration of 1-10 micron fog droplets. These size water droplets provide optimum performance for attraction and suppression of PM 10 and smaller dust particles. The systems can effectively remove breathable and fugitive dust suppression from .1 to 1000 microns. Dust surrounded by dense fog has little chance to escape.
A dosing pump adds the dust suppression agent to the water as it passes through it, and is transferred with a high pressure pump at 70 bar to a series of engineered nozzles on a stainless steel, or nylon tubing pipe network. This system delivers a fine spray via strategically placed nozzles. The droplets amalgamate with the fugitive dust to form a heavier droplet that drops down. The system adds just enough water to the area without over wetting to ensure the elimination of fugitive dust.
The system can be installed outside on the perimeter of the problem area or inside.
